PERSONAL DATA PROTECTION NOTICE / PDP Notice


This Personal Data Protection Notice (“Notice”) describes how Connectkay Sdn Bhd and Fundkay Pte Ltd (“XploreTech”) uses your Personal Data.

Collection of Personal Data

“Personal Data” means information about you that you have provided to XploreTech, such as your name, address, telephone number, NRIC, email address, personal preferences, particulars of your spouse or family members and bank account information, and any information which may identify you, your spouse or family members that have been or may be collected, stored, used and processed by XploreTech from time to time.

In addition to the Personal Data you provide to XploreTech directly (i.e. during your communications with XploreTech and/or when you engage XploreTech to provide services), XploreTech may also collect your Personal Data from a variety of sources, including without limitation at any other events, conferences, seminars or talks organized or sponsored by XploreTech and/or from the cookies used on the XploreTech website(s) https://XploreTech.asia/ (“Website”), and https://app.XploreTech.asia/ (“Website”).

The provision of your Personal Data is voluntary. However, if you do not provide your Personal Data, XploreTech may not be able to (i) communicate with you; (ii) provide you the services you require; or (iii) access certain sections of the Website where log-in is required.

By engaging XploreTech to provide services or by interacting with XploreTech either at our events, seminars, talks, or otherwise, or by accessing and/or using the Website, you hereby consent to the processing of your Personal Data by XploreTech.

By continuing to communicate with XploreTech or by continuing to use our services or accessing our Website following the modifications, updates, or amendments to this Notice you accept such modifications, updates, or amendments. In the event of any conflict between the English and other language versions of this Notice, the English version shall prevail.

Purposes of Processing

XploreTech may use and process your Personal Data for the purposes relating to the services or products you have requested and for the business activities of XploreTech which shall include, without limitation:-

Log-in / authentication information and other information related to our provision of the Services - if you log in to our Site or Services by using credentials from a third party (for example, Google, Microsoft or GitHub), we will receive information that you (or the Customer on your behalf) have authorized for sharing.

Other Purposes

XploreTech may also use and process your Personal Data for other purposes such as to promote and market your services or products of third parties that XploreTech thinks may be of interest to you.

Your Obligations

You are responsible for providing accurate, complete, and not misleading information to us about yourself and any other person whose Personal Data you provide us and for updating this Personal Data as and when it becomes incorrect, out of date, or misleading by contacting XploreTech via the contact details provided below.

In respect of your right to access and/or correct your Personal Data, XploreTech has the right to refuse your requests to access and/or make any correction to your Personal Data for the reasons permitted under law, such as where the expense of providing access to you is disproportionate to the risks to your privacy.

If, after permitting the use of your Personal Data, you later decide that you no longer want XploreTech to include you on its mailing list or otherwise contact you or use your Personal Data in the manner disclosed in this Notice, simply tell us by sending an e-mail.
